Studio Posters 1st Poster-Font Nueva. I chose this font as I liked the cartoonish quality of it, I thought that I could create some fun, creative posters with it.

1- I like the stripy lines in the title, but I don’t think it works very well with the text and the composition.

2-The concept of this idea was better than the outcome. I thought the big ‘N’ would work nicely to divide the page and create contrast between the text and heading. However the ‘N’ had to be adjusted so I could get the desired effect, therefore changing the font from it’s original state.

3- I actually really like this poster. I think the pattern created by the multiple nuevas is effective and it creates two halves to the poster, one half for text, the other half for the matrix. I also like how the nueveas are backwards and upside down except for the nueva that splits the page in two.

4- I played around with patterns with the letters, and I made this one made of lowercase ‘y’. I also like the colour brought into this poster, though colour is not allowed for our first posters. The pattern overwhelms the composition though and it doesn’t really flow from top to bottom in an easy to read manner.
